What we doMorning Church 10am ‘To know God and make him known’
Morning Church is fairly formal. If you like to sing hymns, like to recite the Lord’s Prayer together and some of the ancient creeds, like a more traditional type of atmosphere, perhaps the church that meets at this time is for you? We’re a friendly lot and we want to make you feel welcome, so come along. Maybe God is calling you to serve here with us. What’s more we love a good coffee and cake at morning tea after the formal part of church. This is a good time to talk about the bible and encourage one another to serve God in our daily lives.
Arvo Church 4.30pm ‘Getting on board with God’Arvo church is a place to get on board with God. It’s a place to explore the possibility of real friendship with God, a place to get to know Jesus, to ask questions, any question you like really! It’s about being a group of people who want to think through what it means to serve Jesus and to be challenged to do just that. Arvo church is relaxed and informal. Married or single, old or young, family or none, we’re just glad to see you there. Come and have a coffee, even a bite to eat and just maybe you’ll get on board with God.
Bible Discussion GroupsWe have a number of smaller groups that meet together during the week to discuss God’s Word. We call these Bible Discussion Groups (BDG’s). We get together, open the Bible, discuss what it means for our lives, then we pray together. These are times for real growth, times we can ask those tough questions, even times to be challenged to obey God wholeheartedly. We currently have five bible discussion groups running. Perhaps you’d like to join one of these:-
